About Joe L. Smith II

Rev. Joe L. Smith, II was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 6, 1973 to the Late Bishop Dr. Joe L. Smith and First Lady Gladys Smith. From his birth, he has been reared in the church and started out as a musician at 6-years of age. He committed most of his time and effort to the Holy Tabernacle Church where his father, the Late Bishop Smith, presided as Pastor and Founder for 34 years. He worked faithfully and diligently with the leadership serving in various capacities and ultimately was appointed a Deacon and began his training for ministry under the mentorship of the Late Bishop Smith.

Reverend Smith was ordained to the ministry of Christ under the hand of Bishop Curtis D. Nelson of the Holy Tabernacle Church in Randolph, Massachusetts and accompanied by several other clergymen.

In February 2002, Reverend Joe L. Smith, II founded the Greater Generations Tabernacle Church of God in Christ Apostolic, Inc. He is a pastor who preaches and teaches the unadulterated word of God and through this, many souls have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a true man of God.
